TADPOLE
Body is oval. Tail slightly less than twice the body length, tapers to a narrow tip. Body is pale brown, some with several black spots on the body, others with just one spot on the side of the head.

LIFE HISTORY
Inhabits lowland forests where they are often encountered on leaves of branches 0.5 - 3 m above ground around swamps, puddles or forest ponds.

Skin smooth above; coarsely granular below except smooth on throat of female; a broad, smooth-edged flaps of skins along the forearm and tarsus extending along outer edges of 4th finger and 5th toe; a broad, round flap at heel
DORSAL COLOR
Highly variable; brown, light tan or grey above, with or without dark interorbital bar, dark cruciform mark on back or dark, dorsal spots; dorsi, usually spotted irregularly with brown, black, blue, yellow or orange; sides spotted with black; hands and feet orange red; limbs with dark cross-bars.
VENTRAL
Throat and chest white to yellowish; belly with dark orange reticulations.
DIGITS
Finger tips expanded into large disks, those of outer fingers subequal to tympanum diameter; web between first two fingers reaching distal subarticular tubercles or beyond but does not reach the disk of the 1st finger; web between 2nd and 3rd and between 3rd and 4th fingers reaching disks of all fingers
