Inhabits primary and old secondary forests. Adults can be found near small streams, swaps, ponds, puddles or small pools. Rather similar to Polypedates leucomystaxbut differs by having a sharply pointed snout

SKIN
Skin of the head free of skull; upper parts more of less smooth; a narrow horizontal fold from eye, passing above tympanum and ending behind axilla
DORSAL COLOR
Highly variable, usually greyish or brownish above; back usually with a dark hour-glass-shaped mark; sides and back of thigh marbled with dark brown and yellow; anal region blackish with a white edge; back arm and foot blackish.
VENTRAL
Belly whitish-cream; throat with or without dark vermiculations; limbs with darkish cross-bars.
DIGITS
Finger tips expanded into large disksl width of largest disks about 2/3 tympanum diameter; fingers with slight rudiment of web
