LIFE HISTORY
Inhabits primary and old secondary forests where they can be found perched on vegetation around still water bodies like temporary ponds and puddles following heavy rainfall. Quite similar to Rhacophorus pardalis but differs by having black/brown interdigital webbing and a more pointed snout.

Females up to 81 mm; males up to 60 mm
TYMPANUM
Distinct, 2/3 eye diameter
SKIN
Skin smooth above; belly and underside of thigh coarsely granular; a strong supratympanic fold; arms and tarsus without flaps of skins; no anal flap
DORSAL COLOR
Pinkish brown or pale coffee colour above, fluish grey on the sides of the body and limbs; sides of head darker, purplish grey to blackish; with scattered dark spots on the dorsum; limbs with greyish brown cross-bars; interdigital webs blackish with light veins
VENTRAL
Whitish below, throat spotted or mottled, belly marbled with grey.
DIGITS
Finger tips expanded into large disks, width of three outer ones equal to tympanum diameter; broad webbing reaches base of disks of outer three fingers but only halfway to disk of 1st finger
